Alexa Powell

Alexa earned her Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences at Virginia Tech and her Master Degree in Public Health-Physical Activity from the University of South Carolina. Her studies in public health led her to discover her passion for working with neurodivergent individuals and advocating for inclusive opportunities, such as the collaborative college course with the George Washington University's School of Public Health and Growing Kids Therapy students.

In addition to one-on-one sessions with her spellers, Alexa leads numerous groups that cover a broad range of curriculums and topics. If you are looking for a good balance between laughs and education, Alexa is your practitioner!

When she is not working, you can find her hiking with her dog or signing up for a crazy adventure- her latest was skydiving! What should she do next?
